Deliveries

All items held in our central European warehouse are available on a 4-5 day service. If your order is urgent we are able to offer an express next day service, cut off 10am, from Europe subject to a freight cost based on the weight of the order. All orders placed after 12pm will be treated as being received on the next working day. Delivery times are approximate. While intalite will always endeavour to ensure that goods are provided within the stipulated lead times, external factors may prohibit our ability to supply, up to but not excluding supplier stock levels, couriers, customs checks etcetera. Therefore Intalite accepts no responsibility or compensation for any financial cost that may arise from goods not being delivered within their anticipated lead times.

Minimum Order Value

Our minimum order value to the UK mainland is £150 nett, any orders under that value will be subject to a £12 carriage charge, Our minimum order value to the N. Ireland and Channel Isles is £250 nett, any orders under that value will be subject to a £30 carriage charge,

Chargeable samples

We are happy to supply samples of any of our products which are to be returned at your own cost. All samples are chargeable, once received back and inspected, a credit will be issued if the sample is no longer required. All samples must be returned within 30 days of receipt.

Cancellation of Orders

Once we receive an order it is immediately placed with SLV in Germany in order to ensure the quickest delivery possible. Due to the size and global nature of SLV this means that we are unable to cancel or amend any orders as the order is already being processed.

Returns

Returned goods will not be accepted without prior notification. A returns authorisation document is available upon request (returns@intalite.co.uk), any goods returned without this authorisation document will be refused. Intalite does not accept any liability in relation to the storage/handling or any administrative costs associated with the return of goods.

Faults

If a product appears to be faulty we will offer to collect the product for inspection, if the faulty is repairable this option will be offered, if the product is not repairable we will send it away for testing which can take up to 6 weeks. If a replacement is required in the meantime this will be supplied as a chargeable replacement, a credit will be issued once confirmed the product had a genuine fault and it has not been caused by poor installation.

We are a supply company only, we offer replacements / repairs for faulty goods. We do not offer any form of compensation relating to installation / un- installation.

Unwanted Goods & Stock Cleanses

All goods returned to us as ‘not required’ will be subject to a 25% handling fee. They must be returned within 6 months of the invoice date. All goods must be in a resalable condition free from defects and in the original unmarked, undamaged packaging. Additionally it is not possible to return goods that have been discontinued. The packaging must be sealed with clear tape only and returned at your own cost. Any goods received that do not meet these requirements will be refused and sent back to you at your own expense, and the debit note refused.

Made to order / Emergency Conversions

All made to order products including emergency conversions are non-returnable.

Guarantee

Products carry a 5 year electrical guarantee. All lamps have their own indicated life span and some paint finishes for exterior fittings are excluded. We recommend all products are installed by NICEIC or registered electrical contractors, failure to do so will result in any guarantee becoming void.

Accounts Facilities

Can be applied for by returning our account application form (available at intalite.co.uk) We are contractually obliged to forward details to our insurers any account that is more than 60 days overdue this may result in credit facilities being removed and credit ratings being affected.

Payment Terms

(Account holders): We require payment in full by the last day of the month following the invoice date for this we offer a 2.5% settlement discount.

Retention of Title

All goods remain the property of INTALITE UK until such time that full payment is received for goods supplied. We are a supply company only, we offer replacements / repairs for faulty goods. We do not offer any form of compensation relating to installation / un- installation. By purchasing from Intalite you are also agreeing to all the Terms and Conditions stipulated above.
